Welcome to Tyber Films (now including IOW Film Club, Shanklin Studios and FunpixUK). We have lot’s for you to get involved with from film making, Recording Studio, Photography Studio and your own radio station to record your own show, and everything we offer is completely free, but not to be used commercially. Tyber Films is open to all ages (those under 18, must have a parent or guardian with them at all times) Please Note: Tyber films will officially close from December 2030, so you have five years to make the most of this. Singers Needed
We are at a bit of crossrods with our equipment at the moment and for us to practice and try new ideas, we would love to have a few singers who love to sing songs from musicals. You would need to come to our studio in Shanklin and just have a lot of fun singing your favourite songs, while we record them giving us a chance to practice using our equipment to get the best results we can. We are looking for anyone of any age who can sing (Please note: if you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian with you at all times), if you can help, or would like to visit us first for a chat, please send an email or drop us a message on our facebook page.

Film Production
Ever wondered what it would be like to be part of a film production; we can give you that opportunity, whether in front or behind the camera, pre- or post-production. We like to create our own films and, on any subject, or genre, this could be from drama to musicals, horror to fantasy, you can even write your own script. Being based on the Isle of Wight, Islanders will have the first chance of casting and crewing, we only ask if you commit to a production, you see it all the way to the end, if no one is interested we will then move it to the North Island.
We have access to some great equipment, including cameras in 4K, go pro, drones and full editing and music facilities. Please Note: Film Production is primarily for those who are 18 years or over, on occasions the cast may feature those younger, for this the parents or guardians must take full responsibility, from approving the suitability of the script to chaperoning while filming, no one under 18 will be allowed to be a member of the films crew.
Once a production is complete, it will be available on a finished DVD or Blu Ray, and the film will be available on You Tube. If you are a budding actor, you never know who might be watching.

Recording Studio
The small project recording studio is available for vocals to backing tracks, single/duet singer song writers or film composters, the area is not suitable for bands or drums. Equipment includes two DAW’s Cubase 15 and Ableton Live 11 and various instruments. For more information and a list of all equipment, Click Here.

Just added to our studio is a Yamaha Clavinova Electric Piano.

We also have a septarte set up for pod casing and Story recording, which can be used both in the studio or on the road (up to four microphones).

Tyber Radio
We have applied for an Internet Radio licence for a year so we can record and broadcast both pre-recorded and live shows. Click Here for more information. (latest we looking for other options for our internet Radio)

Photography Studio
Our Photography Studio which is available to use to anyone with an interest in using a small studio, including, Canon camera, three flash heads and white background. click here for more information.
The Recording Studio, Radio Show and Photography Studio is open to anyone of any age, PLEASE NOTE under 18’s must have a parent or guardian in attendance at all times.
